I know I know its been eons since I last posted, out of impatience waiting for Champion Horses to come out I was on a SL strike! They are now out!! So the strike is over! I love them their great and I even created a website for the company I created from it so go check it out!

New Wear From Nyte N' Day!

I have been in SL for almost five years now.   Anyone that has spent a considerable amount of time on the grid can tell you they have at least a few tried and true clothing favorites when it comes to styling their avatar.  One  of those clothing brands for me is Nyte N' Day.    This is one of my favorites because it is awesome clothing that isn't to expensive.  To many places these days in an effort to be sophisticated and realistic  create clothing with WAYYYYYY to many parts. Which may seem like a good idea at first, but what if your taking your avatar to a busy sim? How classy do you think you are going to look with indiviudal pieces of your prim skirt stopping and going like a round of red-light, green light?

 This is the newest pair of new looks! enjoy! I am for sure picking up the middle top!


Nyte N' Days clothing  is sophisticated, but also simple to wear and rock...most of its parts are pieces and not attaches and if there are some, they are small.  Though I would not advise trying to buy formal dresses from them the rest of the clothes they offer both business and casual are of a great quality and will by no means break your linden budget.  They are also great for those of you that choose to be dancers  since they provide sexy yet tasteful outfits that are perfect for the stage!

Rainbow connection?

Every morning when I get up and sign into SL I go play a few games of Freeplay Zyngo over at ACE Gaming before I start doing my jobs for the day.  Usually I have my camera centered on the board of the machine I am working on, but this morning off to the very side I saw that.  Or more fittingly one of those neon tentacles.  I don't know what the point of theme was, but between the neon and the flame he stuck out for sure!  That's the beautiful thing about SL no matter how long you have been a resident there is absolutely no way anyone  can say that they have seen everything the grid has to offer.  I probably will be doing this regularly, by this I mean taking pictures of interesting things to post here so stick around!

New Brand of Breedables !

In recent years SL residents seem to have found a new niche to the ever growing list of things to do on the grid. Starting back in 2007 the first breedable (Think of it as animal like objects you "breed" in game that produce "offspring" that in some cases have unique traits)was introduced. The First species to be used was actually chicken, but the most well known that came later is Ozimals. Ozimals are rabbits that you you feed, and breed to produce different kinds qualities, such as longer ears, blue eyes and other unique traits.

Now, there is a brand that will be released in a few days called Champion Horses. For the last six months the horse breedables market has been popularized by Amaretto,but these new horses will be much more unique. Not only can you breed these horses but you can also train them for both racing and jumping giving people the opportunity to follow there jockey dreams virtually. Another unique aspect is complete design uniqueness. Amaretto for the most part only changed the hide an mane colors to create differences in their horses. Champion is going a step further with each breed looking as close to the original animal as possible. Such as a thoroughbred is skinner and more muscular then say a pony. All these additions will add more depth to the game play and increase the enjoyment for new participants and practiced breeders alike. The horses will be sold for 2,000L each with starter "pairs" a little less then 4,000. So,save up, get yourself cowboy hat and get read for one heck of a hoedown! 

Shock! Gasp! Gawk!

The other day while I was trolling around the marketplace for something else I kept seeing feature boxes showing clothes from a company called Gawk!  When it comes to how I adorn my avatar I am all about the classy and casual.  I don't wear clothing that shows off to much of her skin or has a million different pieces that could take down a island from lag all on its own.

Gawk! though a little pricey has a lot of what I look for when I pick out clothes.  As low a number of pieces as possible and bold colors that make a statement, but are not too bright as to make a resident feel like their retinas are burning just by glancing at it.  As far  as I could tell from my few minutes of browsing they have a wide array of short party dresses, casual long and short sleeve tops and different types of pants, including jeans and the newly released cotton leggings.

So, if your like me and are on a budget but still like to rock a kind of preppy/casual look I suggest you check this place out!

Fashion Forward?

Now I am not going to put you off by saying I know what I am talking about when it comes to fashion in SL.  Unlike many I do not have any professional real life background to speak of.  I do know, however, what I like. I have been a resident of SL for almost 6 years now and I have learned what fits and what doesn't when it comes to fashion design on the grid. 

My goal when I cover fashion on this blog is to help readers avoid the failures..The sculpt pants that when you look at the poster look awesome but when you put them on are WAY too big, or the prim hair that when you move looks like your being electrocuted; just to name a couple.

Don't be afraid to give me your opinions as well! Like I said, I am by no means a SL fashionista and whether you like what I am posting or not, giving imput is what is most important.  It gives us all a dialogue and it also helps me to understand what it is that, you, my readers, wish to read!
